A conviction for maintaining an unlawful sexual relationship with a child under s 66EA of the Crimes Act 1900 (NSW) cannot be sustained where the underlying 'unlawful sexual acts' are particularised as offences contrary to s 81 of that Act and the accused is female, because s 81 is incapable of being committed by a woman.
