The McNeish four-stage analysis should not be treated as a sufficient statement of the Pfennig admissibility test, and failure to give the Benchbook direction on concoction risk will not occasion a miscarriage of justice where the substance of the warning is conveyed through other directions and the issue was ventilated in cross-examination and closing addresses.
