Individual sentences of 4 years and 2 months (only 2 months above the mandatory minimum) for mid-range child abuse material transmission and possession offences are not manifestly excessive even where the offender has significant mental health issues, low IQ, a deprived background, and Verdins principles 1, 3 and 5 apply, where the offender committed the offences while on a CCO for similar offending.
