A 6.2% contravention of the minimum site area development standard under cl 4.1E of the Kiama LEP 2011 may be justified under cl 4.6 where the development achieves the inferred objectives of the standard, particularly on a corner site where the built form is compatible with the locality and no adverse amenity impacts arise.
