In compulsory acquisition compensation cases involving adjoining properties acquired by the same authority for the same purpose, the Court may decline to order joint trials where applicants have different lawyers, different experts, and different cases, but will allocate the same judge to hear proceedings sequentially to achieve efficiencies and avoid inconsistent outcomes.
