There is no right of appeal to the Supreme Court from a determination of the Legal Profession Disciplinary Tribunal made under s 458 of the Legal Profession Act 2007 (Tas). Section 484 only authorises appeals from orders made under Part 4.7. A complainant who elects under s 458(1)(a) to have the Board's determination redetermined by the Tribunal, rather than the Supreme Court, exhausts their right under that provision and cannot subsequently apply to the Supreme Court.
