Practitioners advising accredited providers under Tasmanian workers' compensation legislation should be aware that the Board can revoke all existing accreditations to implement a new accreditation framework, even absent any performance concerns, provided it is satisfied this serves the public interest. The 'public interest' ground in s 77F(1)(c) is not confined to wrongdoing or risk to the public but extends to systemic regulatory reform aimed at improving standards across all providers.
