In group proceedings alleging misleading or deceptive conduct via social media, practitioners must plead the gist of the content of social media posts said to convey each representation; however, where a representation is defined with sufficient precision (e.g. use of '#plasticsurgeon'), the pleading may survive even without identifying every specific post, and discovery categories will be tailored to match the surviving pleaded case rather than broader unparticularised allegations.
