The power of exemption under r.95 of the Solicitors' Admission Rules is exercisable only by the Court of Appeal, not by a single Judge of the Trial Division. Applications for exemption from the admission requirements should be made to the Court of Appeal, ordinarily at the point of admission. The scope of the exemption power may not extend to substituting entirely new qualifications not contemplated by the Rules.
