A sentence of four years' imprisonment for maintaining an unlawful sexual relationship with a 15-year-old, where the offender held a position of cultural and familial authority, showed no remorse, and the offences had serious psychological consequences for the complainant, is within the proper sentencing range. Where consent was induced by the offender's superior cultural position rather than by force, the case should be sentenced on that basis rather than on the assumption of willing sexual interest.
