Presenting multiple cheques at the same bank on the same occasion constitutes a single cash transaction under s 31(1) of the FTR Act, not multiple non-reportable transactions, where the bank officers treat the cash as a single amount and no intention to engage in separate transactions can be attributed to either party. The requirement of 'two or more non-reportable cash transactions' requires a finding of intention by both parties to engage in separate transactions. Unexplained wealth is admissible as circumstantial evidence in fraud cases where the accused's role as controller of a scheme is in issue.
