Section 68 of the Jury Act 1977 (NSW) does not prevent a court from disclosing the identity of a juror where such disclosure is necessary to determine whether a miscarriage of justice has occurred. The word 'person' in s 68(1) does not extend to a court, and the exceptions in s 68(4) are not exhaustive. Courts retain the power to order disclosure of juror identity where necessary to prevent a significant miscarriage of justice.
