Section 109X of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) applies to the 'provision' of payment schedules under s 14 of the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 (NSW), so that leaving a payment schedule at a company's registered office during business hours constitutes valid provision. The word 'provide' in the Act does not bear a different meaning from 'serve', and s 31 of the Act applies to provision of payment schedules. Where a company redirects its mail without notifying the other party, the payment schedule is still validly provided when delivered to the registered office.
