Expert reports filed under UCPR r 31.36(1) need only include opinions that 'support' the plaintiff's case — they do not need to prove or establish a prima facie case. Individual reports need not address all elements of breach, damage and causation, and should be construed benevolently rather than as pleadings. Inconsistency between experts and relative expertise are irrelevant to compliance assessment. Dismissal under r 31.36(3) is an extreme measure of last resort, and a judicial officer must have proper regard to the prejudice to the plaintiff, particularly where the limitation period has expired.
