The District Court does not possess judicial review jurisdiction over CTTT decisions. Where a party seeks relief for procedural unfairness or jurisdictional error by the CTTT that does not constitute a 'decision on a question of law' within s 67 of the CTTT Act, that party must invoke the Supreme Court's jurisdiction under s 69 of the Supreme Court Act 1970 (NSW), creating a bifurcated jurisdiction. The CTTT is not a proper party to a statutory appeal from its own decision in the District Court.
