An exclusion clause in a liability insurance policy excluding cover for 'criminal act or omission', where that phrase appears in a list with 'fraudulent, dishonest, malicious, wilful', refers only to intentional criminal acts and does not exclude cover for offences of dangerous navigation or similar strict liability offences founded on negligence. An insuring clause covering liability 'in connection with the Insured's Business' requires a connection between the injury and the insured's business activities; the defined term describing the business supplements but does not replace the ordinary meaning of 'business'. An insurance broker who advises on policy coverage without qualifying that liability cover only applies to business activities is negligent.
