Where an offender is being sentenced for multiple offences at the one time and full-time custody is the only available option for one offence due to its seriousness, the sentencing judge is not required to expressly address alternatives to full-time custody for the other offences. An offender's status as a liquidator (and thus 'officer of the Supreme Court') does not create a 'greater obligation' not to give false sworn evidence than that of a serving police officer, and the respective obligations are not susceptible to meaningful distinction or ranking.
