A statutory declaration under s 114(4) of the Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995 (Qld) need only give notice 'about' the matters in s 114(6), not set them out in full or contain all the evidence to be relied on. The word 'about' means 'in connection with' or 'in relation to'. Section 114(6)(a)(ii) does not require a formal 'system' for identifying drivers; what constitutes a 'reasonable way of finding out' depends on the circumstances, including whether the vehicle is private, the number of drivers, and the frequency of use. For a private vehicle with a single usual driver, the owner's knowledge of who has access and ability to contact those persons may suffice.
