A jury's failure to reach a verdict on some charges does not establish inconsistency with guilty verdicts on other charges; the appropriate inference depends on the circumstances. A complainant's inability to recall events during cross-examination does not render VARE evidence inherently unreliable or unsafe where the VARE was given at a time of clear recall. Evidence found to be unreliable need not be disregarded entirely; the jury is entitled to weigh the risk of inaccuracy and determine the weight to be given to it.
