A sentence of 15 months' imprisonment was appropriate for a prohibited person in possession of two firearms (one non-functional, neither loaded, no usable ammunition) where the offending was associated with drug trafficking but the firearms were not directly used in criminal activity, the offender had no prior firearms convictions, limited history of violence, and prohibited person status arose from an expired intervention order. A CCO combined with time served was not appropriate for offending of this gravity.
