An appeal that fails to identify any arguable error in the decision below and consists of scandalous allegations against judicial officers will be dismissed on a show cause basis under r 43(2)(g)(i) of the Supreme Court (Court of Appeal) Rules 2005 (WA). A registrar's refusal to accept an affidavit replete with conclusory assertions of a scandalous nature is a proper exercise of case management discretion.
