Repeated domestic violence offences committed in breach of an ADVO designed to protect the same victim attract a significant need for specific deterrence, general deterrence and denunciation, and an aggregate sentence of six years' imprisonment for such offences combined with an aggravated break and enter offence is not manifestly excessive. Self-induced intoxication from 'Ice' use does not mitigate sentence. Appellate intervention on matters of sentencing weight remains narrowly confined.
