Where security for costs is sought against an impecunious company that is a co-applicant with a natural person, the absence of evidence as to the natural person's financial position cannot be turned into a favourable inference about their capacity to meet costs. A late, unsupported offer to personally guarantee costs is insufficient to fill the evidentiary gap.
