Commercial-scale trafficking in synthetic cannabis over 11 months generating over $527,000 in gross sales, with deliberate concealment measures, no guilty plea, limited cooperation and no remorse, warrants a head sentence in the order of four and a half to five years imprisonment. A sentence of three years imprisonment suspended after six months was manifestly inadequate for such conduct. R v Johnson and R v Slingsby are not comparable authorities for high-volume, high-profit synthetic cannabis trafficking.
