Where a contractor's defective work affects the majority of a structure (here, low dry film thickness on all or nearly all tubular steel members), a trial judge's finding that a complete repaint rather than patch repair was necessary and reasonable will not be disturbed on appeal where supported by expert evidence. An admission of limited breach does not constrain the court's assessment of the full extent of breach or the appropriate remediation.
