Regular overtime payments paid as part of a worker's earnings and related to the number or pattern of hours worked are included in compensable weekly earnings after the initial 13-week period under cl 11 of sch 1 to the Workers' Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981 (WA). The terms 'overtime' and 'allowance' are not mutually exclusive concepts under the Act, and there is room for overlap between the defined expressions.
