Recognition evidence based partly on intuition is admissible where the witness is very familiar with the accused, though it may carry limited weight by itself. A full Domican warning is not required in recognition cases unless the circumstances involve the same dangers as identification of a stranger. The strength of a circumstantial case on identity may sustain a conviction even where recognition evidence has weaknesses.
