An Intensive Correction Order may be an appropriate sentence for trafficking in approximately one kilogram of cocaine (75-80% purity, valued up to $518,000) where the offender's role is limited to guarding or concealing the drug, the offender has good rehabilitation prospects, and the sentencing judge has carefully considered all relevant factors including general deterrence. A sentencing judge does not err by examining individual pieces of circumstantial evidence before reaching a holistic determination, provided the evidence is ultimately considered as a whole.
