Where co-offenders have been resentenced to lower sentences on appeal, the parity principle may require remaining co-offenders to also be resentenced. The appropriate method may be to restore the relativities in the original sentences, subject to the constraint that no resulting sentence may be manifestly inadequate. A minimum non-parole period floor may be imposed to prevent manifest inadequacy.
