Under the mixed quantity regime in the DPCS Act, the prosecution need only prove that the accused intended to manufacture a mixture exceeding the threshold weight containing some amount of the drug of dependence; there is no requirement to prove intention to manufacture the drug in its pure form above the threshold, and the purity of the drug in the mixture is relevant only to sentencing.
