Advocate's immunity applies to advice given by a solicitor shortly prior to a hearing which leads to a plea of guilty and judicial finding of guilt, and cannot be circumvented by characterising the claim as involving pre-court advice, undue pressure, lack of informed consent, or unethical conduct.
