An applicant for further provision under the Testator's Family Maintenance Act 1912 (Tas) does not carry a burden of establishing that the amount available from the estate must have a particular degree of impact on the applicant's identified need; and estrangement between testator and child does not terminate the testator's moral obligation to provide for the child.
