Reviewable decision notice
67A Reviewable decision notice
A person who makes a reviewable decision must take reasonable steps to give written notice (a reviewable decision notice) of the decision to any person whose interests are affected by the decision.
Subsection (1) does not apply to a decision not to impose a liability, penalty or limitation on a person if the decision does not adversely affect the interests of another person.
A regulation may prescribe—
the time within which a reviewable decision notice must be given; and
what a notice must or may contain; and
any document or thing that must accompany a notice; and
anything else in relation to a notice.
A failure to comply with this section in relation to a reviewable decision does not affect the validity of the decision.
In this section:
reviewable decision means a decision that, under an authorising law, is reviewable by the tribunal.
