Effect of disclaimer or forfeiture

In force

(1)

This section applies if a person would be entitled to take an interest in an intestate estate but either—

(a)

disclaims the interest; or

(b)

is precluded by the forfeiture rule from obtaining the interest.

(2)

The person is taken to have died before the deceased person.

(3)
