26 Correction of errors in register of adoptions
(1)
If the registrar-general is satisfied that the register of adoptions contains an error or misstatement in, or an omission from, any particulars entered under this regulation, the registrar-general must correct the register accordingly.
(2)
If the registrar-general corrects an entry in the register of adoptions under subsection (1), the registrar-general must sign his or her name immediately under the correction and write the date when the correction was made.
