96 Exclusion of civil actions
If a person is entitled to compensation under this division for the injury or death of an animal, no amount—
(a)
by way of compensation for the value of the animal; or
(b)
for any costs incurred by the owner of the animal as a result of that injury or death;
is payable to any person except under this division.
