72 Board chairperson and deputy chairperson
This section applies if there is no chairperson or no deputy chairperson for the architects board.
The board members must elect a member to be the board chairperson or deputy chairperson.
However, the board members must not elect a member to be the board chairperson or deputy chairperson unless the member is registered.
The board deputy chairperson acts in the position of board chairperson—
during all vacancies in the position; and
during all periods when the board chairperson cannot for any reason exercise the functions of the position.
