179 Power to obtain, inspect and copy records
An authorised person may, by written notice, require a person to give the authorised person information, or produce documents or anything else, that the person has, or has access to, that are reasonably required by the authorised person for this Act.
A person must take reasonable steps to comply with a requirement made of the person under this section.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.
A person commits an offence if the person fails to take reasonable steps to comply with a requirement made of the person under this section.
Maximum penalty: 1 000 penalty units.
An offence against subsection (2) is a strict liability offence.
