129 Identity cards
The construction occupations registrar must issue a building inspector with an identity card that states the person is an inspector for this Act, or stated provisions of this Act, and shows—
a recent photograph of the person; and
the name of the person; and
the date of issue of the card; and
a date of expiry for the card; and
anything else prescribed under the regulations.
A person who ceases to be an inspector must return the person’s identity card to the construction occupations registrar as soon as practicable, but no later than 7 days after ceasing to be an inspector.
Maximum penalty: 1 penalty unit.
An offence against subsection (2) is a strict liability offence.
