Payment of fees otherwise payable

In force

(1)

This section applies if the owner of a parcel of land—

(a)

is directed by a notice under section 62 (1) to carry out building work (other than demolition); and

(b)

the notice contains no requirements about the approval of plans or the obtaining of a building approval.

(2)

The owner of the parcel of land must give the construction occupations registrar the fees that would have been payable to the registrar if the owner had been required to submit plans for approval and that would have been payable to the registrar by the certifier for a building approval in relation to that building work.
