22 Sale of X 18+ films
A person commits an offence if—
the person sells a film classified X 18+ to someone else; and
the other person has not made a direct request for the film.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.
A person commits an offence if the person sells a film classified X 18+ that is not contained in a package made of opaque material.
Maximum penalty: 30 penalty units.
An offence against subsection (2) is a strict liability offence.
A person commits an offence if—
the person sells or copies a film classified X 18+; and
the sale or copying is not done in accordance with a licence under part 6.
Maximum penalty: 100 penalty units, imprisonment for 1 year or both.
