Notification and commencement of manual and amendments
15 Notification and commencement of manual and amendments
The manual is a disallowable instrument.
The Minister must give additional public notice of the making of the manual.
Public notice means notice on an ACT government website or in a daily newspaper circulating in the ACT (see Legislation Act, dict, pt 1). The requirement in s (2) is in addition to the requirement for notification on the legislation register as a disallowable instrument.
The manual, or an amendment or repeal of it, commences—
15 days after the day it is notified under the Legislation Act; or
if the manual, amendment or repeal provides for a later date or time of commencement—on that date or at that time.
