29 Handling—regulated premises
(1)
A person commits an offence if—
(a)
the person stores, transports or disposes of clinical waste; and
(b)
the waste is derived from regulated premises; and
(c)
the person does not store, transport or dispose of the waste in accordance with the manual.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.
(2)
An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
