72 Identity cards for inspectors
The registrar must give an inspector appointed under section 71 an identity card that states the person is an inspector for this Act and shows—
a recent photograph of the person; and
an identification number for the person; and
the date of issue of the card; and
an expiry date for the card; and
anything else prescribed by regulation.
An identity card may be in electronic form.
It is an offence to falsely represent oneself to be a territory public official in a particular capacity (see Criminal Code, s 360 (2)).
