3110 Administration and probate—registrar may make inquiries
(1)
For this part, the registrar may make any inquiry about the identity of a deceased person, an applicant for grant of representation for an estate, or anything else the registrar considers requires proof or explanation.
(2)
The registrar may require an answer to an inquiry to be given by affidavit.
