Appeals to Supreme Court—time for filing application for leave to appeal

The applicant for leave to appeal must file the application for leave to appeal, accompanying affidavit, and draft notice of appeal, in the Supreme Court not later than 28 days after the day the order appealed from is made, or not later than any further time allowed by the court.

Pt 6.2 (Applications in proceedings) applies to an application for further time to apply for leave to appeal.

Note 3

An application for further time may be made before or after the time mentioned in this rule (see Legislation Act, s 151C).
