22 Cancellation of evidence of assumed identity
(1)
This section applies if the chief officer of an issuing agency produces evidence of an assumed identity under this part.
(2)
The chief officer of the issuing agency must cancel the evidence if given a written direction to do so by the chief officer of a law enforcement agency or intelligence agency who asked for the evidence.
(3)
In this section:
cancel includes delete or alter an entry in a record of information.
