32 Evidence of authorities
A document purporting to be an authority granted under section 10—
is admissible in any legal proceedings; and
in the absence of evidence to the contrary, is proof in any proceedings (not being criminal or disciplinary proceedings against a law enforcement officer) that the person who granted the authority was satisfied of the facts of which he or she was required to be satisfied before granting the authority.
A document purporting to be an authority within the meaning of a corresponding law granted under a provision of the corresponding law that corresponds to section 10—
is admissible in any legal proceedings in the ACT; and
in the absence of evidence to the contrary, is proof in any proceedings (not being criminal or disciplinary proceedings against a law enforcement officer) that the person who granted the authority was satisfied of the facts of which he or she was required to be satisfied under the corresponding law before granting the authority.
