136 Payment for samples
(1)
This section applies if an inspector takes a sample of a substance for analysis from premises where a dangerous substance is handled.
(2)
The inspector must pay, or offer to pay, to the person from whom the sample is taken—
(a)
the amount (if any) prescribed by regulation as the amount payable for the sample; or
(b)
if no amount is prescribed—the current market value of the sample.
