97 Notification and display of compliance agreements
This section applies to the relevant responsible person for a compliance agreement.
The person commits an offence if the person fails to—
tell each person (an affected person) whose work is affected by the measures to be taken under the agreement about the agreement, including the measures; or
give a copy of the agreement to each other person in control of each of the premises where an affected person works.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
The person commits an offence if the person fails to ensure that a copy of the agreement is displayed, while the agreement is operating, in a prominent place at or near each part of the premises affected by the contravention of this Act in relation to which the agreement was entered into.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
